That 4x4 is Randy's new toy. His project is also a Chevy but chopped, much much lower and very radical.

I believe this van was built before both of them. Maybe the directors of those shows saw the van first

Radicals are my favorite too. Heavy Metal is owned by a collector now. I saw it for the first time in person at the last Ohio Nationals! It still looks great after all these years.  

First, a huge THANKS to Dan Ward and the rest of the crew out there at Truckin'.  We are looking forward to #8, especially since one of my club member's van will be in it!  But, on Friday, I thumbed through a copy of #7 and saw...VANS!!!!!!!!  I bought 6 copies, and handed some out at the truck-in I was at on Saturday...primarily to people who had no idea what was happening in the mag!  

I also bought 6 copies of number seven. What a surprise it was to see the vans in it. Can't wait to see some earlies in the mag. Alpine Express comes to mind as well as Awesome Lady.

You talking about Ryder's column? Yeah. I haven't see issue 8, but I think it's going to be a blockbuster. I want to thank you guys for all your support of the magazine and the online community. Your voices have been heard!    

I picked up a couple copies of #8 today.  Thanks for listening!  Woody was running around buying copies everywhere this morning!  Thanks to Inland Vans Berdoo, also, for keeping the fires stoked!  Now, if we could get some vans in the "Readers' Rides" section....  

Picked up my copy of Issue #8 yesterday. Nice to see the header on the cover page with the red flamed Chevy van. Checked out the article on Woody's chop van.....
ver-r-r-r-y nice, it's about time we saw it in Truckin'. I'm particularly impressed with the inside shot of the dash....the lighting and the detail in the photo were exceptional.....good work! I hope you keep publishing articles on Vans (and Vanning) in your magazine. I'll continue to buy it as long as you do.
And I do think if you come to the 37th Nationals in Pennsylvania this year, that you'll find out what a dedicated and loyal group of people Vanners are, not to mention that you'll find a whole bunch of beautiful show vans to shoot for upcoming features!!  

Keep the positive feedback coming, guys! The more support and encouragement the editors get, the more vans they'll feature! I'm sure this will be the first of many features on custom vans to appear in the magazine.    

Thanks Truckin' magazine!  Bought all 3 at the store I was at today.  Congrats Woody man!  

Keep on adding Vans to the mag and I will buy 5 issues every month.......Thanks so much to the guys involved in getting Vans back on news stands!!!!!!!!!
