What kind of engine are you planning on putting in it?

are you installing an auto tranny like a c4?? If so you will need to get a short tail housing. Also the ears on the cross member for the motor mounts will have to be moved and then you can use Mustang motor mounts. You can use the A/C that is marketed for hot rods or from a sub compact like a Subaru.

Here's some stock seats that appear to be in great shape. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1967-FORD-ECONOLINE-FRONT-SEATS-VERY-GOOD-CONDITION_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c72Q3a1171Q7c240Q3a1318QQ_trksidZp4506Q2ec0Q2em245QQhashZitem2555379123QQitemZ160343494947QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessoriesQQsalenotsupported

I'm going to be putting a stroked 440 in My Early Dodge. I plan on using motor plates (available thru speed shops) IMO it's the easiest way to go. As far as the A/C, I'd go with a universal aftermarket set up, like Vintage Air. They are complete and are very well designed for smaller dashes.

Can't help you with the bell housing but IMO you would have been better off using a 300 inline six. More torque and can be built to have over 400hp and a C4, C5, or C6 would fit on it with no problem but like I said you would need the short Econoline tail housing and shaft. Did you find the seats you wanted? The steering column you want will be hard to find and expensive if you find one. Better to go with a B&M shifter mounted on a console in front of the dog house.

hi mike, i found the seats from the van. im selling the 260 and going with the 289 automatic. of all the engines i had to go with the 260, no parts available. i gave up finding a steering column and i will use the b+m shifter. i will keep you informed with the progress. danny
