I have a 2006 Ram 2500 Quad Cab that I want to put custom rims on.  Its a work truck and there are times when I have load up the bed and carry some weight.  Are custom rims any weaker then the standard rims that come on it.  It appears as if most custom rims would have less structural integrity than the factory ones.  I was looking to put 18 inch MOTO METAL MO957.  I don't want to have a heavy duty truck that I cant use.  Any input would be greatly appreciated.

if by chance you hit something hard enough to bend one of those moto metal rims then the stock rim would probably bend aswell.  it depends on what size of rubber you are planning on running on the rim aswell.  bigger rubber = less chance of bending your rims on rocks and other objects.
