im thinkin about exaughst for my 02 mercury mountaineer, gettin magnaflows, an i have a V6 4.0 SOHC,an i was jw if it would be loud or at least be worth $300??

Back in the day, Magnaflow had a rep for being loud, but I've got a Magnaflow on my car, and it's not super-loud. Most of the Magnaflow systems I've seen are well-made, so I'd say it would be worth $300.

I have the same magnaflow too and love it, you can usually get a used one on ebay or cragislist. I wanted a valid warranty so I got it here. Magnaflow 35140B. Also some of the forum sponsors usually have a sale going on. Either way its a great exhaust system, sounds great, and very easy to install.
