Trying to install 2 Rockford Fosgate amps in my 2004 1500 Silverado Ext. Cab. I have no idea where to put them. I could use some ideas. Thanks.

are you keeping the backseat? if so subs under the seat amps behind however i prefer amps under the front seats. the problem with them being behind the backseat is you generally have to screw right through the back of the cab to mount them. just food for thought.

I am keeping the backseat, besides the screws through the back wall of the cab, are there heat issues with mounting two Rockford Fosgates, P1000 & 400 amps behind the backseat? Thanks.

i think you will be alright to go, if you are really worried about it call a car audio shop or rockford and tell them what you want to do. you could rivet the amps behind the seats for a cleaner install. hope this helps
