I just got news that as of January 2010, Sprinters sold in the U.S. will no longer be branded as Dodges, and will be sold as Mercedes from here on out. However, Fiat offers a commercial van in Europe already called the Ducato. Here's a pic:

Yikes, now I have a bad taste in my mouth and my eyes are burning. If it was a foot or so shorter and had some nice rims and tires it wouldn't be so bad. Oh yeah that bumper would have to go to. Like the color though.

Hahaa, Mike, you should soooo see this in person though, that photo makes it looks good!!!!!

If you guys are lucky you'll get the Renault Traffic / Vauxhall Movano / Nissan Primastar as they're quite good vans, and look quite cool too

Sorry, just my opinion but no foreign made vans look cool to me. In fact the only vans that look "cool" to me are the early (1961-1967) and mid (1968- 1972) Fords, Dodges and Chevies. When they started making vans with noses they destroyed what a van should look like. " If it has a hood it ain't no good" And to me all "mini" vans are nothing more than station wagons although I do sort of like the Astro panel vans. Just call me old fashioned but I will stick with my earlies.

I was meaning if you HAVE to have some European van to replace the Dodge Sprinter, then those ones would be better.

I do know you're views on cool vans, and I agree on the classics being awesome, but it's all about the different scenes n tastes from different countries. Hell you've seen my van and it's smaller than most compacts over there but is fairly large here.

When I look at a van like this I always feel like Mr. Bean should be driving it.

Yeah, of all the Euro "tall-van" styles, I think I like the Ford Transit the best. Supposedly that's going to replace the Econoline in 2012 or 2013.

I dig the tall vans, its always good to be able to nearly stand up if you are spending long periods of time back there. It looks way to foreign, plastic, and i dont like sliding doors. Its probably pretty nice but has no style.
