i've got a 1954 ford f100 i've chopped the roof 5 inches and now i've got a 1998 ford ranger step-side bed that i'm thinking should look good on it. i just filled the fuel door today and the plan is to fill the tail light holes and french in some 59 cadillac tail lights.
does anyone have any pictures of early 50's f100s with a ranger stepside on them i'd be interested to see one all finished?
any ideas or tips on doing the tail lights?
a few more details about the truck if anyones interested, -we've put a 70's monte carlo front clip in for the front end -a 675hp sbc "ya i'm sure we're going to anger some ford guys but couldn't pass it up with a price tag of 1500bucks -full fiberglass front end -ford 9 rear end on ladder bars

Chevy engines in Fords is nothing new. I'd say that's probably what 90 percent of street rods are!

Sounds like you're off to a good start. Post some pictures when you can.
