Low spped shudder in 79 GMC Sierra 1500

I just replaced the engine and exhaust in my 79 GMC Sierra 1500. When starting from a stop, with light gas pedal, I get a shudder. If I step on the gas harder, it goes away. I replaced the distributor and rotor (HEI ignition). Any ideas?

BTW, it's a 350 with 4wd. I also replaced the U-joints on the rear driveshaft.
