GM President Whitacre thinks Escalade should stay BOF

The site GM Inside News is reporting that in discussions with line workers at GM's Arlington, Texas assembly plant, he commented that he believed the Escalade should remain a body-on-frame, fullsize SUV, casting some doubt on industry speculation that the Escalade would eventually migrate to the unibody Lambda platform, shared with the Chevy Traverse and Buick Enclave.
