I have an 02 Avy with 6" lift and 35" tires and i put 456 gears on mine. I was going to go with 410 but a lot of friends told me to go with 456. They work great for me. Hope this helps.

The truck isn't really gonna be in the mud very often, I am mainly concerned about driveability at highway speeds (70-75mph). How do you 456s work at that speed, if you have had it there?

They work fine. I drive 2 hr to work on the free way. I go 70 - 80 no problem.
