i have an 07 silverado classic i have 20" rims i want to put 22" with air what do i need to do to fit. do i need to shorten my rear axle or is there a backspaceing that i need.

You should be able to find some rims that will fit. Build the truck and then find some rims to fit.

No you do not need to do much of anything to that vehicle, if you are going to lower it with air suspension just be sure to get a higher offset like 30+, as long as you get a 30+ offset you should be able to lower it or do anything you would like. Be careful with getting the old chevy offset of +18 and lower that may cause a problem depending on how wide the wheels are.
