Good lord, fix those wheel wells. I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. Wasn't the Ford Sporttrac kind of the Avalanche competition? I really like the Adrenalin package on the Sporttrac but it's going to be tough to take on the Avalanche. The Ave is already "Old man pimpin" right off the lot and with a few small mods they turn heads.

I should clarify "Old man pimpin" so I don't ruffle any feather. Old man pimpin. Basically the poster truck for Lund Auto. Products. Factory graphics, Box rails, Running boards, those sort of things. No offence intended.

I'm sure a bunch of Ford fanatics will like, but personally I don't think it will pose any kind of competition to the Avalanche. I am a GM guy and I will admit that the first year the Avalanche came out I didn't like, too much unpainted plastic. Chevrolet made some great changes to the new ones though and this Ranger concept looks pretty lame. Good luck Ford

The Sport Trac is quite a bit smaller than the Avalanche. Also, the Avalanche had the folding mid-gate, whereas the Ford just had the stubby, non-expandable cargo box. I'd say the Sport Trac was probably more comparable to the Honda Ridgeline, in terms of packaging. In some ways, I kind of think Ford missed the boat this late in the game, but then again, they've got some pretty nice new products out, so it could be competitive.
