This is our 2008 Trailblazer SS with...All factory options with the exception of rear DVD and NAV options. It is the 3SS which means leather and creature comforts to the hilt.An SS model was introduced for the 2006 model year. This was the first time a production SUV wore the Super Sport badge. This TrailBlazer came standard with a 6.0 L LS2 V8 based on the same engine that comes standard in the 2005-2006 Pontiac GTO. The LS2 is rated at 395 hp (295 kW) with 400 lb·ft (540 N·m) of torque and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in an estimated 5.8 seconds with quarter mile times around 13.5 seconds at 100.0 mph (160.9 km/h). Other differences entail the use of a heavy-duty 4-speed automatic transmission, a cold air intake package, a 4.10 ratio limited slip rear differential, a ZQ8 sport suspension, specially designed front brakes with brake pads similar to those found on the Corvette, and optional all-wheel drive (via a Torsen T-3 center differential). All SS's also come factory equipped with a 4-link rear live axle set-up complete with self leveling/adjusting airbags. This is rear only.On to the one thats in the garage. Black Granite- first years available was 2008 and that year it was only offered on Trailblazer SS. Making it a little more rare.-All windows have received 12% tint all around.-The main muffler has been removed in favor of a straight pipe. Factory rear resonator still remains, keeping the exhaust notes in check.-All factory SS emblems and bowties have received some hugger orange to contrast the black granite.-Rear adjustable pan hard bar installed to keep the rear axle aligned correctly after lowering it. Things tend to shift to the pass. side after you lower them.-DJM A-arms in conjunction with KBEE adjustable coilovers take care of the job up front, bringing the front down to a staggering 30.5" from middle of fender well to ground.-Out back to level things out the airbag sensors were adjusted to match the front. The orange accents have been carried to the interior as well...
