hey guys and ladies out there, im looking to put some rims on my 71 c10 but i dont want to a real bumpy ride, so what do u think? i know its a 5 lug but whats the distance between the lugs? thanks

If you're looking for a smooth ride, I'd recommend 18s or smaller. 18s will give you plenty of room to do an updated braking system (recommended, especially with a more powerful engine) but still have enough sidewall on the tires to give you a decent ride. I don't know the specific bolt pattern for the 71 C10, but it's a common enough truck to restore and customize, that you shouldn't have any trouble finding wheels for it.

thanks esanchez, thats a big help.. since you say 18's what do you think about 18x8.5 in the front and 18x10 in the rear..wider in the rear...ive been looking at different sites with c10's and every one has wider in the rear..thanks for your time..
