Just wondering what the best trans cooler brand for a GMC Sierra 2008 full size 5.3L would be, the truck is lifted 6 inches and im running 35's! trans gets a bit hot sometimes even with no load!

There are plenty of good brands out there. PermaCool, Hayden, B&M, and TCI are all reputable names. With the mods you've done, I'd probably get one that's rated for towing, to give you the extra cooling capacity. As part of the install, I'd probably drain & replace the trans fluid and change the filter, just to be on the safe side.

I have used the permacool one for both trans cooler and oil cooler and it worked great for both.

The kits are usually fairly universal. The main differences would be in the specific hose fittings. I'd call the companies and see what their recommendation would be for your truck.

I have this one on my 53 chevy truck with a 350 as a oil cooler. it works well. I bought it to use for the trans but ended up using a internal cooler instead so I just ran oil lies through it. I didnt uuse the rubber hose that came with it. I wanted something a little more flashy for show so I used braided lines but I m sure the rubber hoses would work fine.
