i just got this truck it runs nice and it is sweet it is a 92 chevy stepside 2wd some one put a lt1 and wiring harness in it idk what all they done. first to tell you the speedometer does not work and i dont want to get a ticket it is my only daily driver. and the wipers only work on high speed but it is slow and the sprayers dont work also it came factory with cruise is their any way i can get it hooked up. thanks for the help.

You might want to check out Painless Wiring. That might help. But whenever you do an engine swap, you risk having some compatibility issues with gauges and other electrical systems.

a bud ,  you might have a mech- or ele- speedo. try to figure out what year motor and trans you have ,and what it came out of .alot of lt1 cars had digital speedometers, .if thats the case. hopefully they didnt cut the harness,and the plug is still there..go get a digital speedo meter.,,also check the difference in rear end gears,...wipers might just be the switch on the colom,the whole arm, they suck, known for it,if this does not fix the cruse, try to see if you are missing parts from when they swaped in the lt1, pics in the book,,good luck hope this helped.
