Chrome Hood Cap

A good friend of mine has restored a 1987 K10 and she's looking for one of the formed chrome or stainless hood caps that mount right front and center on the leading surface of the hood. Does anybody here know of any manufacturers still supplying this thing? I work in auto parts, and I've checked all the suppliers I'm familiar with, with no luck.
Please only tell me about guaranteed sources, not "maybes". I can't believe, with as many of these trucks that are still out there, these caps can't be found! C'mon guys, help! If I do this for her I'll be her HERO...and paybacks are NICE
